• Description: Works with Child Welfare and School districts to improve educational outcomes for foster youth by increasing services at the school site and district level. Some of the services include tutoring, mentoring, counseling, post-secondary support and transportation to maintain school stability. The County Office of Education liaison works directly with the school districts and the foster youth site liaisons to ensure that foster youth have the services they need to succeed academically and emotionally.
